Fun in BIT

                             THIS ALL IN BIT

1. attending classes : studying is 70% of the class time rest all fundu things.

You won’t imagine what all students do to the teacher.

Yah we pay attention in the class. but fun is the integral part of the class.

  1. proxy(fake attendance) is like a cat and mouse game between teacher and the students. Sometimes students get caught but it doesn’t stop. And the record is some 10 proxies by the same student .They change their voices, change seats, hide beneath the benches.
  2. Assignment and lab files: actually they give us weekly assignments and we have to submit them within the week. Do u know how many students solve assignments. Only one student rest, all copy them up.It can be compared by a nuclear chain reaction .That too do u think they submit them on time , on an avg three more days they take to submit.we get a weeks period to right lab files but u know when students start writing the day before the lab, that too they write lab copies in classes, many students are seen writing lab before lab starts they some how submit it , that all goes very crucial.

c. u know the term back benchers supposed to be very passive students but here its not like that  they really show their presence in the class by throwing chalks and aero planes at the teachers and front bencher studious students.

And the sounds they emit symbolizing entire menagerie in the class. The best sound I of  a dog ultimate laughter.

 4. The dictionary of slang words here students use:

First of all I would like to say that some persons have “ GALI” between “dialogues” but here some students have  there “dialogues” in between “GALI” .

If god had a sensor board

There wouldn’t have been a single sentence in hostel.

Some clumsy words here students use:

  1. sutta = cigarette
  2. khamba,daru= liquor
  3. PMC = piya milan chouk ( bus stand here). U might know the reason why it called like that.
  4. Bird watching =  guess
  5. SENCERED(BLOGSPIRIT)
  6. SENCERED(BLOGSPIRIT)
  7. Mass= when all students bunk a class.
  8. Gola= strong group of students.( c to d in a gola) collaborate to dominate

My trip

Yah! my trip finished yesterday.(its Monday 19.9.05).it was two days.

It was damn fun, I tell you everything in detail. It all started when our mid semester Exam finished and all of us group planned to go to somewhere for fun.

Last time we went on bicycle trip and it was good but some students has there ass split into more than 2 pieces. So this time it was in bus.

For an overview it was of 33 hrs we had to travel 300 km and go to Khuti and Chaibasa district near Ranchi. There it was Hirni water falls, Panchghath falls, to see the villages in Jharkhand, students hostels far and away from urban deep inside forest among and for those tribal people which a few days back didn’t have any contact with civilization.

9:00 am Saturday morning we left from BIT 40 students, group leader was Sanjeet bhiya and Ranchi head Pracharak of RSS Shri Suresh ji (he is from kerela because it was Onam festival going on so we greeted him happy Onam.

Then we picked up some folks from Ranchi also.Total it was 55 person.

10:00 am we reached to Van Bandhu seva parishad  (Bariyatu).

There we got to see and orphanage of around 25 children which has been managed by a full time doctor we left his job and all the glamour glory gold for those orphan kids. He was born in Udaipur itself and did some medical practice in Kanpur. But left his job and all and became a full time worker for that orphanage.

He told the stories of all the children about how did they got there and what troubles they had actually most of the children were found on railway stations abandon when they were infant, reasons were poverty and mental and physical disabilities of them.

Stories of them were I don’t know kind of (means even if you the things you will not tell it to the other person).

We had snacks and tea there. We gave them Bananas, which were brought by us for them, they sung Vande Matarm for us. That was superb, I mean they were

3:00pm we reached to the Surya mandir high up on the hills. Its gigantic and the horses they made are some one story high 7 horses very big and the temple itself is 5-6 stories high. Then we did aarti their. We snapped some gelatin (photographs). Their nearby in one school obviously Vidya Mandir we had lunch.

we reached to Panchgath a good tourist spot  but because it was Vishvakarma puja that day so it was completely empty. There we had snacks again. It was a nice place.

5:00pm we reached to the school and an hostel situated right in the middle of the jungle

Established in combined effort of a former BIT professor Mr. Popli and Vidya Bharati we got an warm welcome by the all the fellows out there. Wanna know the reasons for that.

First we came on credits of RSS and BIT professors had given a hard cash for establishment of that school and hostel. So it was a great experience for all of us.

It was not just a residential or boarding school, it was proper Aashram.

6:00pm we had an aarti in Mandir that was too long, even in my 10th class Adarsh like that did not used to happen. All of the students did it really well the synchronization and discipline was utterly good. Than it was bhojpuri bajans those were sung by a little boy. And that was superb.

8:00 it was time for them to do the cultural program for us. It consist songs sung by little girls in hindi, udiya, bhojpuri. Cause they know all the three languages as its near to Orissa border and they learn hindi in school. Then there was a musical play. It was superimposed on a  bhojpuri song in the lyrics which Shiv ji dances on the beats of his Damaroo. Then one by one all the gods come to him and dance in there own ways as they are known for, like Vishu come and play there chakra, Bramha ji come and do his Hisab as he dances and so on. And believe me all the characters they made was super good and funny specially hanuman ji and shiv ji. There dance was also very funny.

Xtreme enjoyment. Even bit students also presented some stuff.

11:00 pm we had food there in the school itself because it was raining cats and dogs so we were not able to go to hostel so they brought food there in the hostel. We slept happily. Mosquitoes had the best feast ever.

4:00am (next day) Morning as usual in RSS camps we had to get up at 4am. But as sleeping is the virtue of every engineer. So students were sleeping even till 7am. And  when last time when we went on the bicycle expedition close to nature. We really reached very close to nature in the morning, but this time the school had toilets.

7:00am it was time for Shakha, we went up to the nearby play ground.

I went to shakha after many-many days. We did calisthenics and there was a match between BIT and Ranchi folks of kabbadi. It went very close and just by one point Bit lost against Ranchi, I was not in the team, because I took only one pair of clothes there and if I would have played It might have been spoiled.

9:00 those school and hostel managing menagerie took us to girls hostel where food is made. He showed us the wormy fertilizer manufacturing plant. In the grave like blocks inside soil it was Gober(dung cake). With thousands of worms so congested that if you take a handful of sand some 20-30 will be there.

10:00 we had snacks at the girls hostel it was very nice Pakoda of aalo and sweet masala chai.

11:00am We left from the the villege. All the children gave us sentimental good bye. Then it was the best adventure of them all as we climbed to the roof of the bus. And for the first time in the life I did that. It was zealous of my acts and the accomplice spirits that the conspiracy took place(even I don’t know what I said). But it was damn daring as I way we had braches of tree of almost at the level of  bus so many times we had to lie down flat on the roof to save ourselves from hitting those.

12:00pm we reached to see the Ekal Vidhyalas that’s run by RSS and Vidya Bharati. It means on man in one school. Here in Jharkand people are poor they have to make their children do the household word while they are in paddy fields. So philanthropists came up with the idea of 3 hr school for youngsters. Timesharing to place the same teacher to other villages all together. That’s an EKAL VIDYALAYA. So there those villagers were happy to see us children sung poems and national anthom for us. One kid got up and read the entire hindi alphabets. It was funny because we were also repeating the words.

2:00pm The main visiting place was about to come now the ultra high and gigantic HIRNI falls. There we were having our food also being cooked. First we had food and then we went to take bath.Got so many snaps, I didn’t have a cam of my own but I will get photographs by other fellows.

6:00 We finished up with the trip and came back in the bus. I interacted with so many juniors and came across so many people.

It was few of the good things that happen rarely to ones life.

And as you know a geek like me won’t survive in this cut throat and kick ass world it was a good lesson for me. I have to stop because I will have to have another paper.
